How Mundan Muhurat is chosen
For the Mundan (Chudakarma) ceremony, movable and light nakshatras, a good tithi and a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday are chosen. It is done in daylight and avoided in Chaturmas, Kharmas and during Jupiter or Venus combustion.
